A native Memphian, I’ve been riding since 1980. My current ride is a 2022 HD Road Glide Special. I’ve owned several Harleys – a Sport Glide, 2 VRod Muscles, 2 Sportsters, and my first bike, a 1980 Honda CB750F.
I’m in my 9th year of rider training and an estimated 550 riders have taken wings right before me.I attended Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis), graduating with B.S.E.E. degree. I also played football for Memphis back in the mid-70s (offensive line – center and guard). My other job was in electrical design engineering for many years. I’m a Business Applications Analyst in the I.T. department at FedEx, working on package tracking.
When I’m not working on IT, I often roam the backroads all around Memphis. Sometimes I might even go to another state!
